Eco-Tours with Eco Explorer

Eco-tours are booked based on the Captains schedule. These trips must have 4 people to leave the dock and can carry no more than 6 per trip. 

Parties of 2 will be combined with other parties to make a trip.    Call for times and to reserve.

The River, Swamp & Marsh Cruise

The Apalachicola River system is unique to Florida and is untouched by development.  This 2-hour  cruise will take you thru the river's delta, with its maze of creeks, sloughs, and swamps.  Providing an opportunity to see alligators, wetland birds, Bald Eagles, and lush vegetation.  The water birds (Egrets,White Ibis,Herons,Grebes, Moorhens and Anhingas) will steal the show when traveling through marshes,swamps, and Apalachicola River.  Captain Ed carries some loaner binoculars if you forgot yours at home. Travel with Captain Ed  to catch a glimpse of Florida's primeval past.  $35.00 Per person

 The Apalachicola Bay and Barrier Islands

The Apalachicola Bay is one of the most productive estuaries in North America.  On this cruise we almost always see dolphins and shorebirds so bring your camera.  Explore and shell the unhabited  St. Vincent and Little St. George Islands  accessible only by water.  Captain Ed will give you the history and hertiage of the area as you cruise.   3 hour trip
