I

Scallop season on Cape San Blas is June 25 to September 25 this year.  And we have been finding the scallops on our scallop trips.    St. Joseph Bay is one of the few remaining areas that bay scallops can be found.   Scalloping is easy and fun for all ages.  This can be a family outing.  All you need are a few simple tools.  Dive FLag (supplied at no extra charge on the rental boats), fishing license, mask and snorkel ( $10 per set) and a  spoon.   The scallops are appearing in the Black's Island area.

The rental boats are equiped with bimini tops, VHS radios, safetly gear, life jackets, snorkel flags and charts of St. Joseph Bay.  You are required to take a 10 - 15 minute check out before leaving the dock. Youth, child and infant life jackets are available on request.  Children under six are required by law to wear a life vest.

Snorkel gear  $10.00 per set

Fishing gear (2 poles and tackle box)   $25.00

Frozen bait is available at the marina.  Fishing license should be purchased at local tackle shops before arrival.

Port St. Joe Marina now sells frozen bait.  Fishing License must be bought at the local tackle shops or purcharsed on line.

Hours of Operation are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Cancellation policy:

Boat rentals are secured by credit card to hold the reservation.  If you fail to cancel within 24 hours or show-up for reservations you will be charged for the boat rental.  Poor weather conditions are called by management, obviously if poor weather arises you will be unable to go and there will be no charge.  If you suspect poor weather please call in the morning before assuming that you will be unable to go.  Assume that you can go until told otherwise.

We are sorry if you stayed out in the sun to long the day before, you could not get the kids out of bed, drank until dawn, did not remember that we are on eastern time instead of central time but you will be charged for the boat or trip that you booked.

PLEASE CALL AHEAD FOR RESERVATIONS
